Introduce a Girl to Food Science

Join us for the 8th annual Introduce a Girl event organized by Women in Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington! This year's theme is Food Science, and Introduce a Girl is completely free!

This event is geared towards girls and gender-expansive kids ages 5-15. We prioritize kids from historically underrepresented backgrounds, first-generation, and low-income people. However, all attendees are welcome regardless of their age or gender. We hope to inspire our attendees to explore STEM through food-related demonstrations and hands-on activities!

Welcome Girl Scouts of Western Washington: For any girl scout who attends the event, we provide specially designed patches!
